About Inessa Levkina!

My name is Inessa Levkina and I have been giving piano, music theory and solfège lessons in The Netherlands for over 20 years. I now also offer lessons through my online music school, making quality music education accessible no matter where you are.

My Vision

When
I
began
teaching
piano,
music
theory,
and
solfège
in
The
Netherlands
over
20
years
ago,
I
quickly
recognized
a
gap
in
the
music
education
system.
The
prevailing
belief
was
that
music
theory
and
solfège
were
too
dull
and
challenging
for
students,
who
should
primarily
enjoy
the
fun
of
playing
an
instrument.

It is important that theory is learned through practice. That’s why my music theory lessons consist of several key components, which focus on ear training in various forms. This may include recognizing discussed musical elements by ear, singing, performing rhythms, and musical dictation. In this way, my lessons contribute to a comprehensive musical education.
